FSAR-AN - Double analogue slope sensor

The FSAR-AN sensor is a slope analog transducer with 4 20mAcurrent output.It is composed with two sensors that works separately.The output current is proportional to the inclination of the sensor compared to the horizontal position 

Working
Supply the sensor and read the output current (directly with a milliamperometer or connecting it to a PLC with 4÷ 20 mAcurrent input). Attention: the input resistance of the used instrument (for the measurement) must have a value that allows to the sensor to supply the maximum current. The maximum output tension of the sensor is “Vsupply – 5.5V“.

Fittings
When you have positioned the sensor, with the long side perfectly in horizontal position, it has an output current value between 11.9mAand 12.1mA. During the fitting, it is necessary to verify that the output current, in horizontal position, is between the upon mentioned values.

Otherwise, you have to act on the support slots to place the sensor in a correct way.

FSI-DD - ON/OFF inclination sensor

Faber-Com FSI-DD slope sensor provides digital information about its inclination compared to the horizontal position.The sensor has two digital outputs (on/off).
Each outputs has two thresholds that define the angular sector where the output is ON and OFF. A delay and an hysteresis is applied to each output change

Working

Faber-Com FSI-DD works over a 360° range.The sensor measures inclination with an integrated accelerometer, so it is unfitted for applications with an high acceleration on the sensor working axis.Connector: DIN 43650 type with 3 poles + ground The sensor is mounted on a bracket with fitting adjustment (+/-15°).

FSI-CAN - Single-axis inclination sensor with CAN-bus output

FSI-CAN is a sigle-axis inclination sensor with CanBus interface. The sensor can be used for measuring the angular tilt in reference to gravity.It can operate in the measurement range of 360°.Inclination measuring is based on the high accuracy accelerometer IC and a microprocessor which processes the data.Each inclination sensor is factory calibrated at 25 °C to guarantee high accuracy.Hardware and software filters are applied in order to reduce interference of vibrations. The inclination sensor has hardware and software filters to reduce interference

Features
Its compact and robust design, its high protection class (IP67) and its ease mounting makes the FSI-CAN sensor a suitable angle measurement device for different industry and automotive applications. FSI-CAN has also reverse battery protection and over voltage peak protection.The inclination sensor is supplied with M12 male connector. On request also the M12 female connector is supplied.The inclination value is written cyclically (interval adjustable) to the bus.The inclination sensor are not terminated internally. The CAN bus complies with CAN specification version 2.0b and protocol is CANopen compatible.

Setting
FSI-CAN sensor is factory preconfigured accordingly to the custom request.Using CAN bus messages, it is possible to make the inclination sensor suitable for diverse application solutions by changing its configuration, in particular:.

  • baud rate (up to  500kb/s)
  • Node-ID
  • transmission interval and other parameters

Once modified, FSI-CAN sensor configuration is stored permanently in the internal device memory.
